Fishes

Fish are gill bearing aquatic craniate animals, they use their gills to breathe. Most fish are ectothermic (cold-blooded) allowing their body temperature to vary as ambient temperature changes. They have swim bladders which is a specialised organ that can be filled with air to help establish neutral buoyancy in the water.
